And as for cows, well, you do know it's possible to make your own cow-friendly habitat, right there near the RoB, if you care to work at it. Cows spawn on unclaimed grasslands. You cannot _claim_ it, except by using a village idol, which requires things you cannot get. But if a few of you were to take up farming, then use the lesser quality seed for making grassland, you'd have a common area where cows respawned regularly.

Idea - you Brodgar newbie helper types might want to do that. I might even help, when i have junk seed. (I just moved, so I'm short on seed again.)

There's a trick to it, though. It seems that you can no longer plant grass on forest tiles, the tiles must be plowed first.

Is there a list of what seeds work? I tried hops cones, but I guess they're not considered seeds.

Hmm, It never occured to me to try hops cones, apple cores, or mulberries. I've also never used onions or carrots, which I'd expect to be like hops cones. Other than that, I think I've tried everything plantable except poppy seeds, at least on the old map, and they all worked.

Well im a newbie and i like this game 'cause it seems to be difficult, and i've seen that it is. Learning by mistakeing, that's fun, but when you see that your village has been destroyed in a few time, you've been robben and you find a nazi's sign in the middle of your village...as a present...

Ò.Ó now i know how this hardcore-players are.

I don't know what to do with this game but i'm a bit disapointed.

The "Ubers" don't need a billion reminders of how horrible the beginning grind is. We've BEEN through it already. We got through it, and so can anyone else if they have the perseverance. Any idea that makes me have to go through that again gets an instant "FUCK NO" from me.

but i could use a bunch of bugs to increase your stats very quickly. most "ubers" also use macro's to get more and more lp..
