Jackard, im afriad you are actually encouraging a lot of others to follow this trade by your modding.
voedoo's trading thread was divided once by burg and then re-merged again by others' requests. i believe the same should be applied in this case too. people have the right to know what other players think.

Investing real life money in this game would be a very risky and only temporary feature.:

1. Reset- When there is a server issue such as world 3 corruption without back-up or new features and large scale game-play changes such as world 4 needs to introduce curiosity, the developers will require everything to be reset. As of the writing of this post, only world 1 to 2 reset had something that remain persistent and that was the characters and all of others simply undergone complete recreation of the world
2. Not supported- If a transaction goes wrong, someone tries to scam you and/or use it as a mean to kill you and steal money, or anything with Murphy's Law decides to throw at you. you will not be reimbursed and any losses that you take will be your own responsibility.
3. Loss of item- A sub reason of above. Again if you get killed any curiosity you used will not be reimbursed, including any troll skulls and capes. Likewise, any paid item can be looted off of your corpse or pillaged from your village are likewise lost. And then there is simply being stolen by merely using theft.

Brings up a point, you don' know these people and how do you know they wont scam you for your money? Jackard your just promoting more of these threads and one trader will be a scammer for money or kill you right after the transaction is done..

I can play far longer than anyone else, and if I wanted to I'd hire some people to grind for me. I take games seriously, and I take actions in games from other players even more seriously. I'd just pour money into an issue and piledrive people until they quit, because I'm very stubborn, I wouldn't quit if someone is giving me shit.

either way, I play this game because I DONT have to spend money. I think this is a dumb idea, not because people are throwing away their money on it, but because the risk of loss is so great. your basically paying real money, for an item in a video game where the only constants are that the lakes are shaped like dicks, the Russians kill people, and the most powerful villages are the ones who can control as much resources as possible. tell me, haters, do you guys really want to see the factions you hate not only get what they want, but also charge people real money for what they have? im not saying this is gonna happen. its just one scenario. here's another side of it, I dont trust a single one of you on the forums to give any of you money over paypal. ill donate, sure. but the rest of you, are just an untrustworthy lot. not offense guys, but its the truth.

As far as i think the whole idea of IRL money for game currency ( in every single game) is stupid, i honestly would like most ppl to actually leave alone those who would like to spend their money, honestly, most trades whit ppl you do not know are gambles, could be an asshole on a alt and still kill you after the trade is gone, no need to Use irl Money, ppl have done it in the past and will continue to. What some ppl might not consider is that in situations like this Time IS Money if you can work for 4 hours and get, lets say, 200$ ( just an example) or play the game for 4 hours ,and make 70,000 Lp ( again, example) but whit just 100$ you could be buying 300,000+ Lp, sure working is more annoying, but some ppl don´t care, in the old system we would grind till our fingers or eyes would fall off, is the same Shit, you work for hours and see an income, if they wanna risk their money, let em be, Warm em about what could happend, but don´t Criticize em, It´s their Fucking money.

You know when time is money? When you're fucking working. When you're playing a game time is winding down having fun and some friendly competition, who gives you the right to fuck with everyone elses time just because you have money? And how come it's all about shafting the poor misguided buyer? What if 2 weeks into the server a fair amount of people/villages get to the epic achievement of getting 10 cheese each. What if some douchebag who values his time a lot and everyone elses not at all comes and buys half of that cheese from some or many of those people (I might refuse to sell to the fag and many others might but not all will) so while I barely scrath level 2 ore he has enough food to be a palibasher? Enough str to mine on l5, kiln bought with good money, and steel gear nobody else can make. What if the fag decides to go rampaging across the land? I mean sure the game went to fuck now with all the russian faggots but that's never been an argument worth it's salt. Why automatically assume incompetence in the people with more money than sense? It's not always the case and no matter how much you hate raephire you have to admit he was fucking competent and he is not alone. So we turn the who gets to wall jump first into a game of who throw more money at the game to come on top and terrorize all well for a time at least.
