i have never gamed before this, and have to say its the only game which has caught my eye to actually get to know how to develop it. theres a lot of depth to this game, and its enjoyable once u understand how to play it. the learning process is part of the fun. and the graphics...personally the newer 'real life' 3d graphics do nothing for me.

I agree with the lagginess and glitchiness of the game, that really needs fixing. Personally I like the graphics, though.

I tried this game over a year ago, and it wasn't fun then. right now, it really hasn't improved at all.

-graphically the game still looks like all "art" is drawn by a bored 8 year-old.
-there is no pathfinding so you get stuck all the time.
-there is no hope of jumping in the game and having a good time without spending 8 hours scavenging the forums and wiki or whatnot before you figure out how and what to do. even making a new character is a complete mystery unless you read elsewhere what you need to click and god forbid if you select an actual spawn location because you'll be trapped behind impassible gates.
-even on a top of the line pc movement is jittery and unpredictable (laggy). performing any action or using a skill is even worse.
-list goes on and on

developers and their cultists can continue to hold an attitude of "get the fuck out if you don't love our game" or you could make some definite improvements to rise to the level of successful games like Terraria. right now most people just pity this game and lament it's unused potential.

I'll just hope there will be more capable developers who can really make something of this new genre.

-GFX is OK, specially Daji's one. I love it.
-there should be some pathfinding yes... it's annoying sometimes.
-go read wiki, everything is there, also there are some guides on forum. Read. If you don't know how to read, back to school.
-it's written in Java, meaning Java applications usually have more RAM requirements to run smoothly. SO if you have 486, go buy new computer with at least 4GB RAM. Lag is due to server and I hate it too. I hope devs will switch backuping to once per day or once per hour. This constant backuping is getting me crazy.
-yes list go on. I hate new curio system as everyone is mass producing alts and that ppl don't even need to be online and do something to get LP for free. Meaning this system should be changed so you have to be online to get LP and study and there is also very decreased time and LP gain from curios or making a mix of previous system with new system that will also reward some specific work when you do it (farming, mining, killing). I hate waiting to curios finish study and get those stupid LP's.

I'm a lifetime gamer...and I have played every video game since Pong... I worked beta testing for Segasoft for a couple years, and I even helped on Halo before it was purchased by microsoft....Not to mention just about every rpg out there from D&D on down... Card games like MTG from beta on down (though it went to shit and I lost interest) to just about every game imaginable...

And IMHO this game is the most interesting that I have ever played. Not only is it highly addicting, but the sheer potential for where this game could go in the future is just amazing... It's in alpha stage now...so sure there are some bugs and issues etc... But even with the bugs, I'm lovin this game.

Like I tell religious people that whine about TV... If you don't like it don't watch...

The omnipresent lag which can kill you at any given time.. fuck you.
The almost daily server crashes that like to happen during the most active hours
The default client is a goddman insult to every player
The ugly, self-righteous dickfaces that track scents and kill people without being asked to
