Hardly. If the rest of the world were to collapse, China would follow suit quickly because they're boom is from producing for the rest of the world.

Yeh but they actualy make things so if they cant sell to us they keep while we would be stuck thinking what to do since we get everything from china unlike most other countries. Im from uk i hardly ever see made in uk and besides all countrys are printing more and more money so soon moneys gona be worthless anyway. When a country gets in debt they take a loan from like this special bank makes all money and then they they just become more in dept and have more useless paper. Economys gona fail and china will take over since they make everything until the point where they end up where were at not making anything then we start making things and over a certain period of time the money goes back up again.

Also china is richest country it just doesnt seem that way since theres so many of them so the moneys spread out.

Its bad when the government or central banks regulate it. The free market needs to regulate it; that's what interest rates are for.

By regulation I meant not lending money to people who are incapable of paying back. Mortgage loans in the USA for example.

Obviously I'm pro free-market :)

The article on dinosaur extinction was awesome, Jorb, so I'd like to give something back.
