I doubt this. For the majority of people, high school is some of the worst times, though it's usually where personalities are cemented, for good or bad (and it's usually the bad traits that get cemented in). Trust me when I say this: If your high school years were the best in your life, you haven't been living life to it's fullest. Granted, this person could very easily leave school and then life does nothing but dump shit on her doorstep until she dies, but that's a rarity and people that put up with those trials are usually better at finding the gems of life in all the dross.
High school is not a big issue, the trick is forming your own circle of friends so nobody messes around with you, and if you're really into making the atmosphere the way you like it, defuse potential fights and stay away from people you dislike. There's no point in pretending you even want to be their friend if you don't like 'em. That's at least what I'm trying to do right now.
