Mm.. I played in world1, and occasionly play if there's a new world for a bit. I do check the forums and read posts sometimes though, and i do recognize quite a few names from world1.

W2 all the way, w1 was pretty interesting too,
but i didn't get to be one of the big mean fighters

In world 1 i managed to get out of brodgar (harder then you may think) and found a tree next to a boulder, had to walk for maybe 5-10 minutes straight to find it. Managed to build a lean-to, then i decided to stop playing till world 2 started. Does that count?

lean-tos didn't come until w3.. or maybe late w2

i don't even remember them early w3... then
again i rushed the new houses and had never
in my noob days built a lean-to...

Getting a dream when you spawned was a horrible idea, it allowed easy griefing early game with the use of hearth fires

Yeah, but it's decently hard to move a HF when you spawn. That is true, though.
