Oh so you was responsible for "messing" up the farm. I was actually in the process of fixing until someone decided he had to plant seeds on his own while i was away.

So i made it a houserule to not touch the farm without knowing what has to be done.
I plan on assigning one of you to take care of the farm once it fixed up. It's a massive task to take care of harvesting wheat. Took me and rift almost an hour to do. With harvesting, taking straw, planting and grinding included. And then the server crashed. I just don't want people randomly expanding the farm anymore.

But yeah, wheat will get the largest section. Hemp with get a small section just as the newly found hop. Carrots got their own "carrot boom" field. Tea is growing to be as big as possible still just as grapes.

Arg, again sorry. I'm trying to help, honestly, I just tend to be on when you guys are all asleep, so I wasn't aware that I'd be causing grief.

For the record, all I did was harvest lots of grain, then re-plant them in all the available space...
I didn't plant non-grain types in the grain area, the flax went off to the side.

I figured grain was the second fastest growing crop (after carrots) so we'd have to wait for all the hops and tea and whatever else is planted in there to grow before we could sort it out properly anyway.

I also moved the bee-hives so they covered the whole grain field (I think in their row formation they were only covering part of it) and noticed the grain seemed to be maturing a lot quicker that way.

Actually, I kinda need several different crops: Carrots, Grapes, and Tea. I have wheat and hemp. I don't know of any more... besides trees coming up...

I could trade some leather for your supply of say 3 of each kinda of seed. I also don't need that many as I can grow a field from just a few with adequate time. Would you accept that deal? And how many leather would you want?

My friend and I would like to keep our current residence a secret, as we can't claim land yet, and we want to keep our stuff free from looters.

I had walked a third of the way there, and I ended up just going all the way.
I brought tidings of cow I found before I hit the sea,

I ran into Rift, so I traded the cow for 6 tea seeds, and 3 carrot seeds. Apparently there were no grape seeds at the time, so if you save a few and tell me you are, showing where the seeds are, I'll make the trek down there and trade you something for it.

Also, Rift talked about you guys moving north later, when you do I'll check out your new home, and maybe bring a house warning gift.

I am currently trying to get a herbalist table. This is crucial! If we want to get any substancial amount of iron/steel we need to have plenty of tee to regenerate stamina.
We have loads of tee right now, leaves as well as seeds.

Wanderer, please try to plant the seeds as soon as possible.
And everybody else, please try to get plant fibre, we need like 8 of them. The table is currently to be built in front of one of the warehouses. as i guess one can move it later, this should be okay.

/edit
btw, theres iron in the steel crucible. if you could just put some coals in there from time to time, it would be great. thanks!

regards,

If you're looking for plant fibers there's a twin flax crop not too far to the south. I'm immune to fox damage in our current ring so I'll go on an expedition when I get online tonight

We had a table and we planted our seeds. But moonshield got stuck with the table he nicked from my cabin and the reset set our farming back halfway.
