Probably starting playing Haven & Hearth again when I was planning to put in a lot of time to develop a game for the Liberated Pixel Cup contest (two weeks ago).
Current HnH playtime since then: 98 hours
Current state in HnH: Palisade, village claim, q30 seeds, mine hole almost finished, have wine, some metal items and bars of copper
Current LPC development time since then: A couple of hours
Current state in LPC: You can click and drag the mouse to turn walls into floors and vice versa. There is nothing else in the game yet.

In-game, the most retarded thing I regret:

After some petty thefts (was rather reckless, I went around stealing food and shit from abandoned claims, leaving scents all over the place), a wacky case of mistaken identity ensued (someone thought I murdered his friend; I only ever stole stuff, though) and someone built a battering ram outside my palisade to ram my house's brick wall, using my unsealed palisade corners to protect his ram. When I posted this image on a different forum, I got the response: "This is why you seal your cornerposts." Then I noticed something: The ram protection cornerposts were also unsealed!

I extended the palisade to block his palisade gate, confidently posted the screenshot on that same forum with the message "This is why you seal your cornerposts." and went to sleep.
The next morning, I was dead.

What most people would consider the most retarded thing I did, though:

I personally don't regret it, though, as I managed to find a server-crashing bug with it, so it's all worth it :3
