I've not seen anyone here make a compelling argument as to why Obama deserves a second term. Sure, blaming Bush feels good, but it doesn't change anything. It's water under the bridge. We can't roll back to 2001 and reformat history.

as myself and painhertz have both said already, we don't feel Obama deserves a second term for none other than the fact that he is running against Romney. The lesser of the two evils, or the devil you know over the one you don't, or whatever the hell works for you. We are in a two-party system, and while we can rage about how that's a bunch of bullshit, and not the way it should be, and we'd be right, and we can wave flags for Ron Paul and the EVOLUTION, the truth is that until people start doing more than posting on the internet, our system is a 2 party system. obama should be reelected as president because he deserves the credit for the country's economic reversal. it is guaranteed that the economy is going to replenish itself, in fact it already is replenishing itself. we need Obama in office because his ideology caters to the average person. most of his constituents aren't completely motivated by their own greed. obama wants everyone to be able to succeed, rather than Romney who has lived his entire life amidst incredible wealth and affluence. you are so caught up on the fucking military, well guess who is going to cut programs that help society and redirect that cash flow into completely frivolous spending in the military. why the fuck do we need more f-22 raptors or f-35s or drones or whatever the fuck else? it's insane how much money is WASTED in military spending. who is going to increase it? mitt.

obama also is a far more contemporary and current president. he pushes for more social freedom and equality. mitt romney and birth control? mitt romney and gay marriage? what the fuck is his deal--that he can't compromise on social issues that are very pertinent and important to a lot of people? i mean, good god, anyone who believes that the future of our country is rested in whether or no abortion should be outlawed and contraceptives should be illegal has a serious issue and really needs to get their priorities straight. we need a modern president who doesn't blur his own religious convictions and the lives of 310 million people. so much for separation between church and state? for someone who speaks so often of "going back to the ideas of the founding fathers"... he is completely clueless. the founding fathers thought religion was a very private thing that shouldn't be even considered inside of political office. the founding fathers also believed (look at James Madison's federalist papers and George Washington's own words) that political parties would be the downfall of a nation--clearly they are. it's insane to me that republicans can't even get over their own partisanship to increase the funding for firefighters and TEACHERS? i mean, what the fuck. you think teachers aren't the future of our country and instead illegal abortion is? ugh. or that environmental legislation should be crushed: renewable sources of energy should receive no extra funding? what the fuck? you wish to destroy the earth rapidly and then count on a prosperous world future? romney is a idiot. and his idiocy is a good reason for the reelection of Obama.
