The part about it not being able to path to its target works already. The only glitch is in the 0 distance path check. Only if your to close to the troll he gets confused.

All loftar needs to do is to add a check if the target is within the trolls fighting distance and prevent the cavin move. Its such a simple fix.

Well, what do you expect a troll to be? Charming?
Jokes aside, it's a bug which also works on mouflons. Stern order gives you 5 advantage OR -5 advantage so you got lucky on this one.
I reported it back in W6 but never got a PM back...

Btw: Nothing to do with charisma.

Its not a bug, and it does have to do with charisma. Its just that low level trolls have shit charisma.

Lvl 5 troll in w6 i got 4+ adv with 300+ cha.

After all that I really think trolls really are broken. Strangely you can kill trolls with less stats then bears. In fact I think you can even kill a troll with near to no stats. Bears in haven are still the most UA intensive PVE animals in a fair fight, just because you cant run away from a bear like you can with a troll.

Final damage calcs:
1099 + 1324 + 1081 + 1620 = 5124 dmg just before the end there

After doing some math I just realized how easy it is to kill a troll. All you need is a fresh alt with 8300LP (from nothing to soldier training and leadership) and you can gain enough LP to do Call Down the Thunder and Opportunity Knocks. You could use the trick described here to gain that LP in about 10 minutes after spawning a fresh alt if you have a proper setup.

Thats the alts you need. You obviously need some gear to do the actual damage as well. So gear + the LP to do the combat moves and your ready to kill a troll. I might make a short video on how to prep a setup for getting that LP fast and what gear you need. With smarts you could have an infinitely large pool of alts to throw at the troll till it dies. Best part is you can even manage to kill it like a real man and not range him like cowards do it.

Gear would involve having thanes for both MC and the extra STR. A B12 or sword for dmg. Buckets of water and flask. You would need a friend with similar setup and your set.

I have promised Ramones the next troll kill as he wants to try and ranged combat it with a sling. But if we manage to get a troll again we might kill him with fresh alts. Just to show its possible.
