First turn death? Is that without making decision so ridiculous they can be considered suicide? Because if you really are an idiot you can do the same in Ragnarok; if you choose sage as a profession, you start off with a bunch of random scrolls. If you read an unidentified one and it turns it happens to be a cursed scroll of pure evil, you get teleported to Niflheim where you freeze to death instantly. But it's hard to do that without purposely trying to kill yourself.

I recall dying in Haven and Hearth means you die in real life.

RIP Grelko the 3rd

left my boat on other side of the river, forgot it was there and teleported, went back and tried to swim across only to lag out on the very last square and died. atleast my camp was locked up tight, too bad all my keys were on him, looks like Grelko the 4th needs to make a ram before he can leave town lol.

The game is advertised as a perma-death survival game. The game is no longer a survival game if you can be resurrected on death. The game is no longer perma-death if character death is not permanent. Worst yet is that, as it is these things, any resurrection will be seen as special treatment and thus you'll be giving unfair advantages to players in a world that many see as competitive. Hope that clears some things up.

Just for the record: Server-side lag doesn't kill you when swimming. Since server time doesn't tick, neither does your stamina.
