It feels as if W7 will be a short one. Current size might accommodate 900-1000 players like we have now but what if the player base drops like it always does.

That is very much just an opinion. Some want a 1x1 map with 5000 players, others will love a 20x20 with 5 players. Always depends on what you like doing and what your playstyle is all about. I sure would prefer 20x20 with 5 players and just farm in peace without anyone ever finding me.

i quite enjoyed having literally an entire supergrid to myself in w3 (until those horrible odditowners showed up  )

We should have a special new world event for the next world:
Everyone is stuck inside a super grid for a week, and a new border of super grid expands every week.

Or we could do it the opposite...
Start with a large map. As months passes, the borders shrink and destroys everything starting from the edge with 1 super grid every month.

Either way, people will fight in the middle.

Actually, I wonder why we don't have worlds with 'expiry' dates so it ends up in a apocalypse after a period of time.

Another map idea is if the world map aren't a perfect square shaped and is instead a rectangle shape with a 1:5 ratio.

W8: 4x4 Supergrids, non-static quality resources i.e. water/soil/clay/etc. quality fluctuates depending on tile activity, gameplay changed to rts control (you select your character like a unit and move/set tasks, etc. allowing for maximum efficiency)

Also say goodbye to multiple accounts for alts as open clients are limited to one ip address. It's all done on a single account now, however there's a catch. You will designate one character on your account as a main. You can only have so many alts logged in equal to your main's charisma in increments of 10. So when you first make your character you can have one alt logged in. Also another catch: Alts are limited to half of what your main is in regards to stats and total lp.

Let the games begin! :P

That's a horrible idea, seeing as how there's people (Such as myself and Val), and that would utterly fuck them over. I really don't feel like going through the hassle of setting up a Dynamic IP on two machines just to be able to play a game.

You appeared to say that in your hypothetical future, only one account would be allowed to log in from each IP address, thereby fucking over Harry and Val, and me and the boything (or me and my brother, depending on which house I'm at). Unless we were running off two mobile internet dongles plus the house broadband, and that gets silly quite quickly....

Making "rules" about alts is really wrong. Gameplay should be designed to encourage playing in the way that the devs want, not make it harder to play more optimally. I dont think 1 acc per ip will ever happen and like people say it screws over people who live together.

I really would like hnh: the rts though :p
