Of course it's perfectly fine to like something, but obsessions are never good. My former roommate likes My Little Pony, he does drugs (Barbiturates, Opiates, or gets stoned) and watches it while he's high out of his mind. That's fine. However, do you know what people see most often of obsessives of anything in general?

If you associate with a group that has a negative reputation for socially unacceptable behavior, you're going to get a bad rap. That's just part of it. People assume the worst as a defense mechanism, because honestly; What else is this group offering? When was the last time you saw the headline anywhere "Brony cures Cancer!" "Furry's save Children and Puppy hostages, Militant Extremists become Pacifist School Teachers?" You don't, because you have a very vocal group with a large amount of negative attributes.

If you guys weren't just spamming roleplay and showering the forums in ponies, it's a nuisance. People will come to accept and like what they will, and no amount of trying to cram it down peoples throats would make any difference. If your argument is "We just have fun roleplaying!" FINE! Fucking fantastic! There's Private message function, holy shit. Or even better yet, you do it in game. If you want to spread Peace, Love, Friendship, and Understanding, then you should Understand that the people here don't always want Peace, Love, or Friendship. We want to murder people and steal their skulls, raid their villages, see them driven before us, hear the lamentations of their women, eat all their food, and when we're bloated, sated of our bloodlust, and being entertained by all the various shit we've stolen, we want to sit our asses on top of their skulls in a god damn chair, just to add insult to injury.

Spread your message in game, this place is for BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! And bragging, because that's just how it goes.

Ruins it for me. The first thing I saw was the Snowman, and I was like "That dude was one of the best characters from that movie." But then you have to remember, there's a big, hairy guy in there, wearing assless chaps, grinding up against a dude wearing a plush costume of Bambi.

I don't see it that way at all. To me he's the normal one out of the entire lot.
