Right now, my main character is stuck in my house and can't leave. I can't join another village because he's lawspeaker and I have no access to the idol to revoke the position, because he's stuck in the house and the idol doesn't exist anymore. Hopefully when the claim is gone, I'll be able to join another village?

I don't understand, you are trapped in one of the missing houses and it does not let you exit?

As far as I could tell the actual land itself is still passable according to these screenshots so I assumed a player inside such a house would have just appeared on the land it existed on? Or they appear in the house and could at least leave to the now nothingness? Or not I guess?

Source: Either Parchir or someone else told me he tested it outside of the burders, where he built a house, entered it and couldn't exit.

a house is its own plane of existance. the door on the outside doesnt exist anymore so basically what happened is that his teleport beacon that connected the house to the main world is gone. he is drifting in the void now.

Can't you also Leave Village via the Adventure menu? Oh I guess you're still stuck because you can't get outside to get party-oathed (or do you need to be outside still for that?).

Can't leave the village because I'm lawspeaker. Can't get rid of lawspeaker because the village idol doesn't exist anymore. Can't leave the house because the exit no longer exists in the world. Can't port to the village because the idol doesn't exist.

I was hoping that once I left the village I could be added to another one and port out that way, but are you saying that doesn't actually work?
