No, not just normal war. TOTAL war. Devote EVERY WAKING MOMENT to conquering the enemy, waste no time on anything else. It's nearly impossible to wage total war, I assure you.

So you want a large amount of people to devote a large amount of time to raiding and killing other people on this game.

Now who does this alre-oh wait i think its the goons.

Lesson learned: If you have a SA account you aren't allowed to do the exact same things that other people in the game want to do because someone you've never met on a forum you have an account on ruined someones poopsocking run on an mmo you've never played.

War =/= Raiding.

War and raids oftentimes go hand-in-hand with unprofessional armies, sure.

But war isn't a bunch of guys going around hitting random cities for profit and lulz. There is an objective, a goal. In this case, it would be to completely obliterate every one of the opposing side's men. Neutral parties stand at risk in this, but then again, they always do.

So, should you find yourself in the warpath of the goons, or of a less organized tangent of the... "non-goons"(?), all I can say is:
-Gather your valuables and run to a safe haven (because there will likely be at least one or two major neutral factions)
-Same, but retreat into the wilderness
-Build thick, THICK walls
-Pay a tribute or a tax

You all cried "I'd rather die than pay the goons" well what now?
Did you notice how the first towns raided aren't the ones who have paid?
Or how about the fact that one of them was raided while protecting a paid town?

Also you could have lived Gaiadin, you logged in and attacked us.

Pay the tax and don't get your shit packed in.

I miss the old roads =[

I so loved to have dirt roads leading to my farms and orchards, and diagonal paths to different places in my camp, now everything looks just oh so blocky

People, it's a game, take it down a notch. Anyway, you can't have heroes without villains. Getting revenge for this murder will certainly be a more memorable experience than baking a couple of thousands of carrot cakes.

lol. I cried nothing, ever. I deliberately kept my nose out of everything goon-related in the hopes that I wouldn't have to deal with your ridiculous bullshit and I could continue testing and ultimately improving a potentially great game.

You realize your crusade of meaningless slaughter is absolutely nothing but terrible for the game don't you? You hide behind the umbrella of improving the game. "I have so many capes. I find so many bugs." But ultimately all you really want is to stroke it with one hand, your other on your mouse click clicking away another player and then another until eventually everyone is sick of even attempting to test the game.

I understand the devs are hesitant to step in and I get it. The fact is, the game mechanics will have to change and I have hopes that eventually they will, such that the behavior you've shown will be extremely dissuaded.

I get a chuckle when I see your absurd claims of "but I bring in so many players" as though the purpose of those inductions is something other than to drive existing players away through scare tactics, threat, and ultimately brute force. Pretend that your goons help the game if that's what you need to do. If you're lucky some of the more naive players might even believe you.
