It depends on what happens politically in china. The winner (Usa) gets to write the history and international politics. Though this discussion has more to do with economics even though they are undoubtedly connected. Economics usually drive politics.

I'd be glad if I could see into the next two weeks.

Major economic downturn within a few years when the fiat house of cards comes tumbling down, probably another major war at some point. Redrawing of the European map in several ways. No more EU.

It's not too late for reform and the eu is better off together with the exception of a few countries and better off than other countries. Next 2 weeks will probably be boring. Though at this point the EU is weak. It would be propped up by others weakening elsewhere. But I think the first major changes will be in asia. India well may be the best off. And China the weakest. Certainly a concentration of wealth and power or the opposite is likely. I don't see it as staying the same. EU should be done with wars at this point. Those with power do tend to abuse it. We may be headed for another gilded age.
