Depends exactly what you're doing, but the main advantage of the tablet is definitely the ability to use pressure and angle sensors, if you have no use for varying degress of pressure (brush size\opacity) or varying degrees of angle (only really used for airbrushing, but handy if you get the hang of it) then the major advantages of the tablet are reduced to being able to 'draw' on digital mediums (giving you the ability to erase stuff, use filters etc), and i doubt that's worth the several hundred dollars (or more) required to buy one.
