I would use an unassailable alt to cut down every non-claimed tree within a twenty mile radius of an enemy village.

Or have people use unassailable alts to trap someone, then shoot him at my leisure.

But as always you would be to lazy to actually exploit the bugs you discover.

Griefing people is only fun in theory.

I sense the dark side is strong in you....maybe join wv to see what griefing is like in praxis, although we rarely ever really grief.

Murderous vikings that loot, burn,
rape and pillage everything in sight
see a small cabin with a guy sitting
out front; What do they do?

A.)Kill him, rape his wife, steal his
chair

B.)Wave and walk by

C.)Stare angrily because they can't
attack him.

Just because he's not part of a
powerful faction and they wouldn't
get hunted down and killed for killing
him seems reason enough to jack his
pants throw his wife to Gato and get
out of there.

I'd prefer something like a karma-system to introducing artifical rules.
I like that there is no full protection against PvP and stealing, but a game mechanic to balance things out would be nice. Let's face it: "Players will be the police" only works among hardcore players (if at all). Newbies and casul players usually can't do anything about it, because they lack stats and proper organization. Sounds like it's the same in H&H.

Passive protections would be nice. Bear traps, used for hunting but also placed on the ground to force unlucky trespassers to crawl until they can get it off. Trapped chests, which poison or simply deal damage to people who open them without the proper permissions. Actual pickable locks. Doors that can be barred. Defensive measures that, by rights, should have already been in the game before I even started playing.

Personally, I doubt it, or at least I think it would be mostly among factions, instead of aimed at newbies, as I think it is now.
