Of course, I also built an entire highway around a large swamp and across a clay field .. So yea.

Cow Chorizo is more efficient. Easier too. Also - You throw a rabbit in the mix and you double the worth.

I get 3 bars for a basket of Chorizo, 6 for Tame.
Delicious Deerdog is extremely valuable though. A basket of that is clearly worth a completed steel bar.

basket of 6 or basket of 16?

6 deer dogs need 18 deer meat. that's about 5 deer (4 meat a deer right?). Maybe a little more than 1 steel bar for that? I am not entirely sure. Deer seems to be quite rare due to the fact it's sought after. It's in high demand and supply is low.

And yes i agree. Chorizo is a much better way to raise con. It's much easier to make / get.

Chorizo is easier in small quantities, but I'd like to see how long it would take you to fill 4 chests with it. I think bread is easier in bulk.

I guess it also kinda depends on how lucky you are. but if 3 people go look for cows it will be much faster than 3 people harvesting. Plus you do need to have a farm big enough to make 144 flour in one go. You'd need a 288 tile big farm. That takes forever to harvest.

Well yeah, it is largely a matter of luck. And I'm not a very lucky person, so I prefer something I can count on, like fields.

But there is one more question: which method would get you more LP? I haven't done much cow killing, so I can't tell for sure, but I think bread has slight advantage here.

Also, I don't really expect to sell much bread. Now carrot cakes, those should sell like crazy.

A tie between bread and chorizo i think..But pretty sure honey buns and carrot cakes win over cow chorizo. But those also need more work.

Carrot cakes are great. Honey buns? Not so much.

People buy these things? I'm perfectly happy with sausages. I don't know why I'd even WANT bread.

The only thing I've paid a farmer to do is harvest my fields and replant my treeplanter's pots, and he got a total of 5 CI bars for that.

So let me get this straight... You can agree on the value of goods, but not on the value of cic to wrought? The golden triangle prices them at 35:1 where the farmers union prices them at 8:1

I have a solution for your worries.

I will offer to convert as many wrought iron bars to cic for the farmers union as you like. You bring me a wrought Iron bar and I will give you 80 cic.
I'm even throwing in a free coin (due to the cost of using the coinpress) how generous of me.

Similarly, if anyone in the golden triangle requires their cic converted to wic, come straight to laketown and ask for TheTrav, I will convert as much cic to wic as you like at a 35:1 ratio.

There you go, you have a new medium of exchange and you can do all your transactions in cic.

Coming soon! Store all your money with me and you can just do abacus based transactions where I take care of ALL the painful calculations for you (for a minimal charge, a quater of a copper coin*) and give you monthly balances.
* as copper has not been developed yet and is therefore the rarest item in the world, it is valued at approximately 10 steel bars per abstract copper coin concept

Those 5 CI bars could have bought you an ass load of baked product if you read the thread properly. You my friend, are not a savy consumer!
