TBH I also want an apocalypse somewhere in the near future. It's not the scarcity of mines or such that bothers me, but the sheer amount of ruins and abandoned villages. The decay mechanism should get few bits added, like some kind of meteorite impact in villages that have been inactive for 3+ months or such. Discovering ruins over and over is not funny, especially when looking for X wildlife. But then again I could be less lazy and build a crossroads into wilderness, w/e. Also, I'm looking forward for those planned mining improvements... draw faster, jorb!

On another note I find this inner circle conspiracy theory stuff to be madness. I mean, from what I know, the circle is made up of people who've been playing since the early beginnings. IMHO it's totally legitimate for the devs to have a place to socialize with them, and only them. A majority of the Hearthlings I've encountered in-game since this world reset have already quit and will most likely never come back to H&H. Sure, J&L could try to make love to all of us out here, but I get the feeling that befriending 3k people and watching 99% of them quit Haven 2 weeks later for Runescape wouldn't be a more sophisticated approach either.
