what if there's actually a hidden cavern directly beneath these rock formations with secret jorbtar treasure hidden below? If there was I wouldn't be surprised, and if there isn't well there should be.

... it's unlikely because doing it more than once gets predictable and boring? The phrase to search for is 'Dig deeper. More greedily.' And there ended up being a village in it called Blaze Point.

What have we done? We broke the ecosystem.

...or maybe that's the place where all sheep go when they die.

The entire island is like this. The minimap is often entirely white.

I'd really like to see a graph of the population growth

Male animals exist with just grass for really long times, while females starve super fast even with grass. Really odd.

It's possible to "pollute" islands easily like this. All you need is a day of many treechopping bots working, and a herd of mouflons.
Tame a couple of pairs of mouflons and there you go. Grows exponentially.

Pretty sure that's because pregnant animals eat more and males can't get pregnant.

Nope, it's just grass, nothing to do with if they're pregnant.

Does moor or hearth do any better in feeding animals? Or it's the same shit?

I've never seen animals survive that long on moor or heath, just on grass. But that's not something easy to find in such numbers and in such timescale, so my sample is very limited.

If Hafen weren't so close I would do controlled population studies with animals to know what happens, that's pretty interesting.

What if we just moved like a bunch of sheep onto another island using rafts to spread the swarm!
