I think the forums are doing more than RoB walls to turn newbies away.

You're probably right. This thread was never going to be anything other than a flame though. Posting about people griefing is pretty well known to be exactly what they want. It should have just been a PM to L&J to clean it up and that's the end of it.

Yeah, now that sounds reasonable enough.

I second that. Which is why i stopped feeding the trolls on the forum but they still keep on going about nothing at all.
You know they said i was bitching about everything on this forum but in reality its them that keep on bitching. If i wanted to play this game and found the forum in the state it is in now i'd steer away from the forum or maybe the game as a whole.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Please explain how fixing this particular issue now is easier than fixing it in a months time, or a years time, or ten years time.

Still waiting for delamore to respond with some ACTUAL reasoning...

People have said multiple times that it's better to fuck things up now so that they can be fixed rather than wait until much later, but I still haven't heard anyone actually say specifically what makes it so much harder to fix further down the track.

Because at this point the game is small, it does not charge and the devs don't have as much on their plate as they will in a years time.
What happens when you get a group of people that join and ONLY grief people? What then?

If this game ever starts charging Id probably create and launch my own. There is a far better business model available for games.
