I can see how drawn weapons can be perceived as a threat, but you shouldn't jump to that conclusion without other threatening gestures to back up that impression. Mind you, I'm talking in general here, as I wasn't there and thus have no idea just how threatening was the Pine Valley and Niltrias' general behaviour.

Gah! Drag me back into this mess?
I not only did not threaten anyone, I purposely went there with nothing equipped. The presence of several people armed with swords, axes, and helmets caused me to quip something like "nice helmets. I feel left out." at which point I equipped one.
Honestly, the whole incident basically taught me this, which I share on Bismarkean principle.
If the devs drop free goodies, claiming them all is a work of ass-hattery. So if you want to share and not look like a trespasser, immediately build a claim right next to but not over them. Then no one can claim the patch, and you can share to your heart`s content. Or maybe the devs could just drop a 1 square claim in the middle of the patch, like at RoB, but I have a feeling they actually are looking for interactions like what we saw yesterday...after all, conflict over scare resources is very like RL, isnt it?

Also, as a gesture of goodwill, I declaimed a bit ago. We'll see how long this "public" spawn lasts.

You are adding nothing to this thread and are just attempting to get others to flame you, this is exactly why the forums need moderation.
