I fully look forward to jorb and loftar fixing several mechanics and bringing back updates, because at that time you chuckleheads are going to be more marginalized than lawn furniture in winter.

This is just my opinion, but I actually think that this is the most innovative method of levelling I have seen in recent years. Yes its not perfect, but as a whole new direction you cant expect it to be.

All in all it allows for a lot more thought to be placed on the choices you make, and apart from the eternal bots, a more rounded and individual character. It also makes quality a much bigger issue, as you only need one axe, and you can buy/steal that... now you need to be able to produce high level curios on a regular basis.... interesting...

I am thoroughly enjoying world 5, a world of exploration, not just in (virtual) physical terms but also in mental...
Thank you Devs for this brave new world!

you seriously can only occupy yourself on HnH for 5 minutes without the incentive of lps? christ... learn to enjoy the game for the enjoyment of it. not because you can grind 10k lps an hour..

In reconsideration, I think that our paranoia has driven us to believe that we *need* LP to survive, and thus play, Haven and Hearth.

Now that everybody isn't a 500 Strength maniac, we should realise that we don't need LP to survive. Build a house, post a claim, start a farm. Play HnH as it was originally intended, not to grind your Strength so you can defend yourselves against murderers.

For now, at least. ;)

Thanks for showing the world that there are new players who actually grasp the concept on how this system is supposed to work and how much more freedom in gameplay it allows us, plus that raising quality (as a community based effort) has become the main objective of the game rather than grinding up your individual char. Unless, as said before, you stand in a corner and stare at that cow. Then I can see why some people hate the new system.

I am enjoying the ride alot so far, hope many others will too.

You don't seem to have understood what I said. You don't need LP to survive.

Explore. Hunt. Socialise. Build a campfire to keep you warm through the night and cook a chunk of meat.

OR... just a suggestion... you could do some work, get hungry, eat intel food... so you can study more, maybe raise your per/ex so you find more curios... hmm build your base.... make a store of stuff to study... go fishing... find some perch... butcher cook eat and repeat.... stomp on some ants nests..... maybe even use your imagination ?
