the troll posts are amusing, and its often easier to join in with the trolling than have to make the effort to actually say something constructive or helpful.

But this forum should really be a bit more 'friendly' to new people specifically, even with dumb questions about something you can find somwhere in the forums or on wiki, it's jsut nice to actually provide an answer rather than 'go check wiki you noob', or whatever else.

and when people get raided and killed, unless you're the one who did the killing and therefore probably dont give a shit, it's nice when people in a gamin community come together to try to help you and support you when u've been hit hard and had charachters die. Instead telling a relatively new players that he died cause he had a palisade so its their fault, isnt helpful, if they havent had the chance to build a brickwall yet or dont have the resources to do so.

Or instead, if someone is unable to be nice, they can simply just not respond to threads where some niceties would be appreciated.

Its a good topic to discuss, if it stops getting flamed so bad:D

Well that could all fall under the same thing that's happening to a lot of people, they think it's okay to do this. It's not, the community empathy is lacking and it's causing a lot of people to not know what they're saying over the forums. They add sentence enhancers to stick up for themselves and insult the other 'opponent' in this debate that they've secluded themselves in a topic, making the target opponent dislike the one insulting them, and throwing it back. Same can happen with factions or any large group of people, it even happens with one vs many in paragraphs and in comes the constant bashing. Pretty sure we could fix this if we asked for some stricter guidelines on word usage, off-topic replies, and personal arguments and report the stuff when it happens.

And if you keep a socially friendly, cooperative voice in conversations and discussions it's always going to come out better with a positive reaction from others in a discussion, if they disagree with you they should control themselves and discuss and explain why they disagree, not call the other person a retard, then point out why they are a retard.

People appreciate when you put work into informing or opening discussion. Turn the forum into a gentlemen's lounge, because that's how we should cooperate. Not like a high school.

Apologies, but that's totally off-topic! Teehee.

I think these days because of the lag and lack of updates, people seem to be having more fun on the forums than in the game itself. Sad but true. That being said, it IS the height of irony that Popfor is posting this thread.

it was merely an observation on your usage of language which segregates the female haven population for what you're saying Neon!

but in all seriousness, I agree with your comments, but considering most of the haven population is in high school, and no offense meant here, but the population for this game is pretty young, thats it probably explains the responses sometimes. Although there's plenty of adults who shit post like pro's too:D

Game dies, forum dies. What's so surprising?

Your attitude, just going to give up eh?

We need you. The games not dead, you know the strong ones love the game enough to stick through this, and we still are. Even if Loftar is plotting to create the lag in hopes to rid himself of this burden, possibly. Probably. Maybe. Fact is it's obvious that at least some people don't like how people are acting on the forums, and really in general. I know I don't and I would like to see a change in everything, this attitude has nearly driven me and as you saw others away. People these days are not peaceful, they are not open to ideas, they are not reasonable, not following rules of both the forums and the invisible rules of the Hearthlands. There had to be some time in this game where there wasn't mindless killing over group affairs, bickering on the forums about who's better, boasting about kills, or constant slinging at each others groups. I may not know, I haven't been in that many worlds, but I can assume there was. Right?
