You bot using game breakers are spoiled babies. STFU. No one cares about your rationalizations. No one buys them either.

No seriously. NO ONE.

I don't bot, and my point is, if the game is bottable, people will bot. It's not the people's fault. The less botting is worth it, the less botters there will be...

I completely disagree with this, however there is nothing wrong with some botting deterrent. I'd be okay with it.

Program a window that *randomly* pops up saying, "Bot check, if you are human click here" and has a 2 minute timer. If the button is not clicked then the account is deleted when the timer counts down to 0.

There's such a thing as event-based botting. Pretty sure that, if that was to be added, people would just make the bot click that button every time it pops up.

While the client remains open source, this would never work.

Simple scripts to handle the repetitious tasks are definitely appreciated by people who have wrist issues like myself, but, not at the cost of allowing the entire game to be controlled by a series of functions.

A new/modified client with closed source code is in my opinion, the only way to slow the development of task automation. Of course this does not exclude the needed adjustments of certain game mechanics.

I look forward to the version that is in development and hope Loftar finds great motivation to program like a madman. :)

They will only simply have to have the ability to log in multiple bots to harass and kill a more skilled and maneuverable Human player. When that day comes it will be this:

I don't mind world 7. prefer less drama, don't do combat anyway so no idea what the fixes are, and to me it's like any other world I've played, minus the dreaded lag.

Plus this is a free game, if I was paying for it, then maybe i'd have some niggling issues to raise, but for a free game, which most of us has seen through at least a few worlds, I don't see anything game breaking in world 7 that didn't exist in any previous world.

It's an MMO, we as the community make this game what it is.

But we don't code the game, and it has fundamental flaws beyond the mindset of the people.

Amanda already said this, but as a non pvp player i'm cool with whatever the changes to pvp have been. So jorb and loftar for many did something which pleases players like me. But ofcourse the downside of that is that players who do like to pvp don't like the fixes.
and the same would be happening for whatever these guys try to do or fix or change or add or whatever, there'll be some happy folks, some who don't care either way and those who will moan and complain cause a free game isn't going their way.

Make constructive comments and feedback, eventually it maybe listened to if it's worth changing, and if it isn't..well then not much was lost.

oh and also forgot to add a happy birthday for Alay, albeit a belated one:)

The point is it is YOUR choice. YOU choose to bot or not. When you see others running bots and not getting in trouble for it, it makes the choice less of a rules dilemma and more of a social or moral issue. Players, after all, only have to play within the rules (or lack thereof) presented by the game maker. Anything not explicitly disallowed, is, inherently, allowed.

Therefore, it ulitmately is the individuals player's decision (and thus fault if things go wrong) on the actions they take, nobody else's.

edit: forgot the concluding line...

What's wrong with bot users ? They're just players with innovative minds.
It's nice to see that Jorb and Loftar failed in their nanny-state attempts to mod the game in favor of the non-botting community, and that eventually creative destruction will occur in this game.
