After playing a little and then scrapping fortresses because clusterfuck and low fps I tried another fortress using quantum stockpiles. After that playing seemed very tiring setting up all stockpiles, getting attacked by troll who saw 126 pages of combat logs from 9 unarmed alcoholic midgets and on top of that half of my fortress is children... I just drowned them in lava and killed the damn tree-humping merchant elves then abandoned the damn thing.
Building everything from scratch sucks.

So I made a world that has 2x more titans, max mineral occurrence, and for 500 years.
The spot that I'm choosing is a ruin, just to see how it would be like. Its a pretty good ruin, it is temperate, heavily forested, thick vegetation, and with wilderness. Clay, little soil, shallow metals, deep metals, and flux stone. And there are goblins and a tower. Pretty neat. I might be alittle worried that this ruin was destroyed in one year :(

Thus the glorious paddles of doom, embarked to build fort Ballsacks.
It was weird, how can they build ALL OF THIS in one year, but anyways, outside there is a huge hematite outdoor base, and there is a stairway that goes all the way down to lava, and there are magma smelters. There are a couple of rooms down there, so I made a temporary military to look whats there.
WHAT, AN AMBUSH!
Oh thank god, they're not goblins, or a tower seige, its apparently a baron concort, but he is going to fight, and he also has no weapons, so I made everyone join the military to gank him.
OH SHIT, HE GOT A MARTIAL TRANCE AND KILLED MAGICMAN. AND MY SCRODUMGOD IS MISERABLE, AND WILL TANTRUM ANY MOMENT.
WE KILLED HIM, AND NOW EVERYONE IS UNHAPPY, SCRODUMGOD IS TRANTRUMING, AND MATEUSZ_ZBOJ IS MISERABLE TOO.

And then scrodumgod, killed DDDsDD999, everyone is miserable, our doctor is dead, I think I'm done. I'm just going to get cinderheart to walk around the base, and it turns out that there are a couple of people who hang out in the base, and they don't immediately attack me, even though it mentions that they are hostile. That might have been the fault that Ive done, especially that they were dwarfs, I just remembered that killing dwarfs is not a good thing.

So I went ahead and made a new fortress on the same map, and chose a temperate savanna, even though its warm.
Thus, The Sack of Obscurity, embarked to build Fort Ballsacks the second, or the third, or the fourth...

Spring
One cool thing to know is that we have a water buffolo bull and cow, even though they take a crapload of room.
There was this 5 page wall of cancel jobs, because I accidentally made a pit/pond, instead of a pasture.
Well, abruptly on the first layer of stone, we found a cave, I'm blocking that out.
I put most of my workshops outside, because it will take a while for the places to get dug out, and cleaned of stones.

Summer

Ahh, some migrants arrived!
Wow, we have more than doubled our population, 8 migrants.
Too bad most of them are fisherydwarfs, and a weaver, tanner, peasant, and a waxworker.

So many Rhesus Macaques, making my animals run around, going to make my lumberjack run after them. Killed them pretty easily.
Funny thing, the randomly generated name for the squad is The Mechanical Universes, unusual.

Outpost liaison, and merchants came.
I was trying to trade, but then the trader would not take the fish, and after I took off the fish, the liaison wasn't getting enough profit, and he refused to trade :/

We got more migrants, Its a bit more diverse than the last group, but nothing special like a miner. We got a kitty, horse foul, duckling, baby alpaca, and a donkey.

POSSESION, our wax worker is possesed! He has claimed a craftsdwarf workshop! Thank god it was only made with stone.
He made a claystone ring.

I slaughtered the male birds.

Winter
Well I felt lazy, so I just let people fish and eat, and I made a few stone fall traps.
And this is what it currently looks like:

And Spring has begun.

I also bluescreen of death'ed while uploading it, its some kind of driver problem. My browser restored the session so it doesn't matter. Thank god I finished minutes before it happened.

Set the damn quantum stockpiles or you will lose fps quite fast when everyone stats stripping off their old clothes along with stones cluttered all over corridors.

Now that we can get baby birds, they overwhelm worse than cats!! At least you don't find dead rodents everywhere.

Oh, and job cancellation spam is bad for hives. Avoid them if you don't need the wax, honey, or royal jelly.

I'm not sure if magicman is telling me to redo this because of me killing the male birds (even if they overwhelm more than cats, they can be butchered for food), or if he didn't notice the part of me saying "its your turn magicman" with the link and thought that this is unfinished.
