I found a decayed pali with a cabin. I'll stay here for a little bit because I've killed enough rabbits to make a backpack.

I put all the loot into a single cup along with my inventory, funny how it can all fit in a single cupoard, eh?

With the furs out to dry I need to prepare for the tanning.

Why does everyone take on aurochsen without having sealed off the rest of the herd? Why would a nab fight, or even pull hairs from one to begin with?

If it's that big a deal, just raise an alt with Animal Husbandry, and use it to get aurochsen hairs. Or just wait untill a later date to tame some.

I have never had the herd attack me after more than 20 successful hairpulls. I assumed it was an old wives' tale o' haven

According to the wikia, you have a 25% chance of being attacked. I would have penned them all up, just to be safe.
