You've made it clear from the very beginning, from everything I've seen about you, that you're blinded by hatred and can't possibly fathom concepts like "he's my friend I won't leave him" and "well, I didn't take it, so why are you killing me". You hate us and are unwilling to change that, and I've tried very hard to make my posts clear about who we are and how we feel about things, and by and large, the community is willing to give us a shot. We moved to the end of the map to try and get away from people like you, and yet you're still here going, "you're evil we hate you we're never going to let you just mess around on your own land building stupid shit".
A lot of us have terrible senses of humor, but ultimately, we're making fun of you on the internet over a java game. Let me repeat:
we're making fun of you on the internet over a game. At worst, our very worst,
we're making fun of you over a game, and you're here raging and calling for our extermination and saying we're terrible (we are terrible) and don't seem to understand the difference between laughter and pranks and "You're not welcome here, fuck off".
Just ask yourself this:
We are 50 out of the 75 or so people on this server right now, and more goons are going to come if we welcome them -- that is, if we have a place and offer help and have a community for them to join of people that
they like. We are a much-needed infusion of new players, new ideas, new playing styles and most importantly, newbie support. Half the time, people don't even know how to chat in-game, because the chat bubble in the top-left is unintuitive. A lot of the time, people can't MOVE, because it's left-click move and right-click interact, instead of the opposite way around and there's no tutorial. Poeple don't know about the CTRL+C world chat, because messages don't show up on the screen when it's closed.
How many people do you think try this game and then leave after five minutes because it's not worth their time to figure out the minutiae? I very nearly did, because I couldn't figure out who to talk to, how to move, or what to do -- but I wandered around and stumbled upon Goonheim by accident (I was lost), and JTG found me and talked to me and invited me -- and then I couldn't figure out how to bubble-chat, so I asked him and he helped me and gave me food and showed me how to use items and build things.
How many people do you think we've brought in who can be in this for the long haul, just because
we helped them when they were confused?
Do you honestly think this game would be better without us? It was, apparently, dying without us -- just some 20 people circlejerking with their e-honor. Towns of 4-people dying slowly of bloat when we got 10 worker-bees building up a town enthusiastically and new members coming in by the truckload to get in on the action.
Peter: where's mordor? what do you mean?

Anyways, we DID go to the edge of the map, and we would have been alone, but you guys didn't let us. So you can't be too surprised when we express skepticism. Aside from Blaze, no one else in the greater pubby community has been genuinely nice to us -- though Raep seems pretty cool.
