You are either functionally retarded or really want this to be true so you can fuel your god complex.

Probably functionally retarded, but that doesn't mean I can't glean truths that others miss completely. It's part of my analytical nature.

Thanks! It took a bit to figure it all out, but it was worth the satisfaction :) .

GOD DAMN GOONS

Postby ActionHank » Sun Jul 19, 2009 6:51 pm

Goons are the worst. They troll and grief and troll and they never do ANYTHING for the community! They brought resources of a public iRC server, made a map for public use for everyone in the community, and is providing a steady increase in playerbase, I bet it's all a troll and they don't want to have any fun at all and just want to kill me or steal from me! FUCK GOONS! GOONS = BTARD 4CHAN EPIK WIN RETARDZ!!

We had a IRC channel before goons arrived. We had a map too, and it only takes a monkey to stick in on maplib.

I agree with what you are trying to say though, the goons aren't naturally bad people. They're just retarded 90% of the time, which I can deal with.
i guess they never miss huh

Google api i think. Don't have any experience with this though.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Yeah you had an empty dead IRC because this game was near empty.
You had a map, but why had no one taken the effort to stick it on maplib? Because the game was near empty and dead.

services cost money. time is money. you pay in return for not having to code/host it yourself

so it only takes a monkey with $32 and we all know monkeys and women dont know how to spend money

I'll generalize whomever I want : )

The game seems no more 'full' to me now than it did before. The IRC being full is of no benefit to me, merely to newbies, the way it was before. There were only a few people in the old IRC, but if a newbie jumped in those few people would still answer their questions just fine. We were doing just fine without the goons, don't act like you are all the new collective messiah. : P

That's ironic, I was just thinking to myself that I could have hosted it for free.
