The game is already on a dedicated server, though I haven't installed a forum nor prepared a website yet.
I'm focusing on development before building a community around the game.

But of course when the game is actually playable and fun, I'll focus on both the forum and website.

I have lots of fun doing it :D

By the way I'll try to keep a changelog up to date so you guys can see where it's going and when test-phase will be here.
You can check it here : http://94.23.236.43/bw_changelog.txt

Also, to stay on-topic here is a screen of my awesome options menu

At this point, building a good game engine is much more important to me than building a sweet client.

I'll keep your advice in mind though, and if closed-alpha testers report it again I'll spend some time to do something about it.

Then, this game is really slow paced, even when you're not online, your character stays and keep doing the job you planned for him.
This means that with a few clicks you'll do lots of actions over time. In few minutes you will be able to plan hours of work for one character.
So I don't think switching from minimap to chat will really be a problem.

For a designer point of view, it is really hard to fit everything I want into one screen (I'm trying to keep the game compatible with 1280x1024 screen without scrolling).

To wake up the thread a bit ... those who play WoT knows how bitchy it is to get Kolobanov's in ugly AT7, who actually I adore...
