I could have sworn I saw somewhere that there was a 2% chance of a troll spawning every time you mined a tile.

So you made up the 2% chance or that was stated somewhere and I missed it?

I did not make it up, but it would appear I cannot find where it was posted again. I was tired last night, I could have misread something.

Collective 70% chance, not a 70% chance, meaing I have mined 35 tiles under the impression that there is a 2% chance that a troll will spawn per mined out tile. It does not have any effect over if a troll spawns or not and simply states that I have collected 70% chance total.
An example of this would be obtaining a river pearl from a river pearl mussel. On average, you get 1 pearl every 100 mussels, but say sombody gets one after 5 mussels? That means they had a collective 5% chance of getting a pearl.

I speak using terms that some people may not quite understand, sorry about that. Either way, I still want to know where I got the 2% from now that I can't find it.

If you've mined 35 tiles and there is indeed a 2% chance per tile mined out in the area, then obviously you're extremely unlucky or your numbers are bullshit. You've failed ten 50+% chances in a row something that would occur 0.0009% of the time even if it were capped at 50%.

If it's a 2% chance per tile independent of other tiles mined in the area, the probablity of not getting a troll out of 35 tiles mined is ~49%, with your next attempt having a 2% chance again. Go look up binomial distributions to understand why.

Also, the 2% chance sounds like bullshit.

I myself and others have collectivly mined over 5000 cave tiles for iron. So either our luck is shitty as heck or they only appear when the wall gives stone, not metal. With 128 surv(axe 26) i collect 113 meat and 164 bones, but he have special bones, as you can see.
About FEP: i have 43 fep but one piece of meat give a lot of fep, so it is over 43, and adds strength
