So... here is the result of the little wax experiment (yes I am late... blame the last x-men movie which is great by the way =p).

The experimental set up was like this. Note that the full radius of the beehive was farmed (I have removed the previous paved lines for the sake of the little experiment) :





And the result was 7 wax for a full cycle and 1.5 liter of honey when the last the crop finished growing. A nearly perfect 0.5 wax / honey ratio. Quality seems unaffected by the fact that there was no diversity of crops.
