Death of Freedom: Another 'I Quit' Story

I only read up the point where Sab said we are pussies for quitting after dying. I died two times this world, 3 times last world, and once before that. The 3 from world 4 were all player kills/summons. All I ever did was grind up and start raiding again. In fact, I even made a whole post about how I killed 3 villages all loosley connected to one person who summoned me! I just wanted a break from the grind, I'm not QQ'ing and weeping over the death of my character.

Further more, as I stated in my "farewell" post, I only made it to let people who I played with this world who I otherwise couldn't contact know I was taking a break. So.... for lack of better words, fuck that.

i keep asking myself, why people still have children on such a screwed up planet <_<

that's different from society? nevertheless that you
effected and even made? how will you change the
world? plus people will say you have no idea what
it's like to be a parent (as they smoke near their 5
month old baby and talk about how they wish they'd
gotten an abortion instead)

The problem is most people don't want to have kids
but are too consumed in their own satisfaction, escape,
release, and happiness that there's more people that
are accidents than there are wanted children, too many
children neglected or abused. If you raise a child well,
hey, maybe they'll go out and effect others and slowly
trickle down... or maybe they'll get corrupted and taken
advantage of, become depressed like most good people
seem to, or have their poor innocent souls ravaged by
the brutal, stupid society we live in.

live your life, put your blinders on when you're near
stupid people, then just stick to your plans and do
whatever you want to do in life as long as it doesn't
spread the stupid or harm an innocent soul.

i see alot of what your saying, and i like how well you were able to say it. much of what you said i can agree with as well, i find that having a child.. not that its pointless but with the way things are and how the world is, i cant see bringing someone into it for them to be abused.
