I've heard when running away it is good to drop frogs/rats behind you, however sometimes the frog appears infront of me, is there a way to ensure this doesn't happen? (This usually happens more often when i'm lagging)
Also, my tip for the day to anyone that doesn't know: Get a sword, even if just for valarous strike. Valarous costs 6ip but will set advantage to 0, it can turn the tide very quickly :)

Higher Agi is always valuable, even when things are mobile. There is no way to control where something from your inventory lands. Sting is often preferable over Valor Strike just because VS has such a long cool down.

Ah yes, I was just saying for someone with 1 melee should possibly invest in a sword just for valarous, I prefer sting over valarous as a finisher aswell.

This is true, it's a very worthwhile investment for finishing someone off quickly. Keep at it good sir and/or madam!

You can use valorous strike with stone axe too.

The damage difference between even a shitty sword and a stone axe is pretty big though. Is it ever worth it to valor strike with a stone axe?

Nah, I mean for resetting advantage, since Ganja Guardian was saying that even people with 1 melee should carry swords for valorous. Neither is going to do any damage with no points in melee, so no need to buy a sword then.

And axe is actually better if you have super low strength, since it does some piercing damage. Of course, under these conditions punch is better than both.

Ah, right. Piercing is actually a worthwhile reason to carry around a shitty stoneaxe. I never thought about it. Axes have 5% piercing, right? I'm actually going to try and run some numbers.

Yup. Which really makes one wonder what's the point of Cleave.

The cooldown time on Cleave is pretty damn atrocious and it has a painfully high cost but I guess if you desperately don't want to reset combat advantage? I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I had that much combat advantage and initiative and wasn't just dominating the round anyway but maybe it could happen.

If the cooldown time wasn't so long it might even be worthwhile to use that over valor strike sometimes.

Edit: Oh god, the damage output with a stone axe compared to just using your bare hands is abysmal. Even with an exceptional stone axe, your piercing damage output will always be substantially less than what Knock his teeth out! can do. The only case where using a stone axe is superior to using your fists against an armored opponent is if you have less than 10 strength and a stone axe of q40+
