As a new character you are fragile in a world that is, very specifically, designed to be hostile towards you. Skills such as 100 MM are actually really easy to get even for a casual player in a short amount of time so pointing them out as imbalanced and something only no-lifers acquire only further underlines how new you are to this environment.

It sounds like your big qualm lies in the fact that you died and you feel incredibly emasculated. Good luck with that.

A casual player generally refers to someone who plays fairly minimally, maybe 30-60 minutes a day. At the extreme ends of being a casual player, you may have someone play for 2 hours a day. After that you begin entering others realms of play.

Note here that not all players are alike, least of all casual players. That said, 8 exploration in 3 days for a character alone in the world is painfully bad. That's a number you should have met and exceeded within your first day to facilitate growth of your character and settlement. It makes sense that you've actually been stunted by this though as without exploration and survival, a character living off of the wild lands will be incapable of foraging up the curiosities and food they need to progress to the next steps of the game.

ive been solo....and ive played about 8 hours a day or more...painfully sad it may be...im still new to this game i nearly gave up.

Global chat is a terrible thing!

Ants (Soldiers, Queen, Empress) are great curios for you early on. Continue to raise Exploration to find better curios, and raise Survival too because it softcaps things you forage. (forageable ql is usually equal to the soil ql where they spawned).

Dragonflies are also pretty decent - you catch them in swamps.

also going civilization will increase ur int but dec ur strength. i do it temporarily at start to gain more lp then level it later.

i would always increase exploration as much as possible along with some survival, so ure seeing decent curios and foragables. you should also be able to craft a decent number of curios from basic materials- cone cows, bark boats, seers bones, prisms, dolls, seers tea leaves etc. if ure playing enough, once one curio pops replace straight away.

wine is also a good temp int boost if u have that made.
a decent q necro robe also- you may not be able to make it yourself, but u maybe able to trade for one
