Stance on gay rights?

anti-homosexuality is totally christian point of view, imo.
in ancient japan, every man high up in ranks was said to have "enjoyed" it as a hobby or whatever they liked to call, and they still made kids for their family trees as their obligations. (the more kids you had, the more powerful you could be in ancient days of japan, as my history teacher back in high school had taught repeatedly!)

people say that it was when westerners brought in christianity and their morals to our country that people started seeing it as something wrong.

as a woman, id be too shocked if my bf is/was/turned into a gay, i might hate him badly but idk.

Celibacy is wrong. 1 celibate male or 1 celibate female cannot make a baby. Which i believe is not natural.

I am glad there are at lease some Christians who can be mature about the issue. I am not gay, but I have a lot of gay friends. I think you just need to get to know some to realize they are real people who are living their lives, and we shouldn't try to force them into our cultural norms through legislation.

I wouldn't say Christians who believe religion and law should be joined are immature, it's a completely valid point although my viewpoints are different. And yes I agree, it may be a sin, but it shouldn't be illegal.

I made it clear in my post that I'm both for separation of church and state and gay rights to be legally married, I'd rather not elaborate on why I'm against separation. I'm for gay rights because I believe it's a sin, but shouldn't be illegal because that. And yes, it's true that the Bible says sex is sacred, mocking it will do you no good.

also I strongly believe all modern anti-homosexuality derives mainly from religion, especially the bible which has many anti-gay passages, there's a reason the Westboro Baptist Church stand on street corners being all noisy saying the things they do

I recently watched a 2 hour documentary about Alexander the Great and I found it quite surprising actually how casual and common homosexuality actually was
