Yes the difference is in real life you fear the consequences of your actions. In the game you can be as much of a dick as you truly are with very little to no lasting damage to yourself your well being or your possessions.

Or most people do realize that it is just a game?

But sure if it makes you feel better to assume that we have so many psychopaths and sociopaths here in H&H, then go ahead. :D

I give psychopaths and sociopaths more credit, these folks are just assholes.
Yes, I am a Wizard.

A game is meant to be fun.

Disagree. A game is meant to be entertaining, not necessarely fun. This is why games that rely on horror and psychological uneasiness can still be considered to be games.

It's a well known fact that the vast majority of people in this game bot. And it is a well known fact that you can bot as much as you want without anyone giving a fuck.

Most people do not find it fun to click on a piece of ground for 3 hours just to gather some crops. Most people do not find it fun to walk across a bunch of ovens every 10-20 minutes waiting for food to cook. Most people do not find it fun waiting around for days while mass quantities of cheese are made. So they bot.

I think most everyone has psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies to one degree or another, online games bring them out a lot more than real life due to the whole lack of consequences. Some games try and keep these contained with rules and bans, hh on the other hand embraces the fuck out of them by design and bad judgement on the developers part.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

If it were competitive to do what you described manually, I believe more people would find them to be worthwhile manual chores.

That's abit different from a foraging bot. And why would those people play the game if the biggest part of it bores them?

Writing bots yes. Analyzing the results/reward from botting, yes.

You have no data to back up your claims, however, you can believe that if you want. I'll take your word for it that most of the major factions bot, some abuse it more then others. I've encountered quite a few people who don't however.

But if everyone else uses them too, making the reward less worthy?
