+1

As a hermit I have had: 100+ dex, 150+ int, and 50+ psy (and this was on a short w5). I had attributes and skills exactly as high as I needed them. I got 50 Int on foraged and farm food alone this world. Fishing is awesome for this as you have 3 or 4 fish with +int; add in fox, and anything you can make with those. l2FEP. (Would like to see another pure PSY food or two other than cavebulbs.) Do realize with a crafter and very high quality farm products you could really use to push to 300+ DEX.

As a hermit, I realize a real siege system will probably screw me even harder than having to check for a ram every day, but then part of the reason I don't do group play here is all the bugraiding. What's the difference? At least with just a pali up, you get a palibasher come along knock a hole in and just mess with things (which I have plenty alt-vaulted I usually won't care) that takes only a few days to replace.

Remove altvaults.

Need some changes to the siege mechanics, dont know if anyone has successfully rammed anyone yet.

Need 0% weight when getting movement hit, and game would then be flawless.

Actually, ignore the first two parts and just fix the combat its the most fun this game can offer anyway b4 it was nerft that is.

(from jorbtar) A siege system that at some stage prevents people from simply porting in or out of the target village.

(from jorbtar) A way to maim another hearthling as an alternative to capital punishment.

(from the players) Warring groups that are still capable of holding agreements with eachother.

Nummy wrote:int and psy . Specially int food for start of the world. It's damn annoying as it is now. until you have cheese your int sucks, after you get cheese, your int can get to 200+ easily when you don't need it much.

Except just eating raw blueberries while foraging early game (which is something you need to do early on for LP anyway), is a great INT boost early game.

But yeah I agree with Ziggy, food isn't really that big of an issue, there are plenty of other things broken.

One thing I'd really love to see is more Village Idol interaction, like a publicly viewable founders list, and the active Lawspeaker/Chieftain displayed. Also for anyone part of that village to view a roster of hearthlings who are a part of the village (and the ability to memorize/kin through that for other village members). Then beyond that, something so Lawspeakers can make pacts or alliances with other villages for more access rights, and alliances. And the ability to form colonies, which have more authority drain (maybe depending on distance from the mother idol), but can be established outside village terrain (probably make it so colony statues/idols are equivalent to village idols, but they can't be expanded via banners?).

And of course, permission/authority based walls and gates, fuck these keys and dooralts.

Basically put to use villages and authority mechanics more robustly, so players don't have to rely on managing alts so much. That meta-game aspect I think, is long-run destructive to the game and community.
Hearthlings: Marona; Chamberlain (retainer alt), Vincavec (shaman of the Dryad Wells Forest)

Non-colliding milestones.

And what AnnaC said.

Make the body float up one hour after drowning, so you can loot the skull and gear.

Better combat. And by that I don't mean "The combat system sucks", I mean make it so that newer players can be even slightly on even footing with people who have played longer. As someone who joined right in the middle of world 7 as a warrior, I get my ass handed to me by anyone and everyone simply because of the fact that they have been playing longer than me. Now, I know that that is the point, but it really ruins combat for anyone who didn't factory bears and LP since the beginning of the world, because you get killed by everyone, since they're always a step ahead of you, no matter how high your stats get. Combat is really more reliant on "I started before you and/or have more spare time so I have more stats" than "I worked hard for all my gear and understand the combat system really well", and in a game with permanent death, I think it's kind of dumb how it works.

Thats just my opinion though, and I am prepared for people to yell at me.

Why do milestones even have hitboxes? Make it so we can just walk through the damn things and that'll stop all of the potential clipping.

Because then I couldn't make sweet animal pens with them 8-)

I'd rather be able to see and move the milestone on my cursor to see where I'll be placing it, like you can with ovens, houses, firepits, etc
