You call this a noob? He got further in a month or two than you did in 3 years.

Eh. This noob also has plenty of help.
Where was my help when I started out?

*Bloody diary page found on corpse shot by arrow. Next to body lay a runestone which reads,"Should have made a claim and built a BW, NOOB"*

What, how? And why? D:

Kaios wrote:Bummer but at least the guy was kind enough (or doesn't have vandal) not to destroy the idol and you know he's Polish and came from the village "Grape Party" so I'm sure that means something to someone.

He just started the video there, i'm grape party's LS and he's not one of us.

forgive me, but...
how?
how much am I missing if this man is able to build a village in under 3 weeks and I was just barely able to put up my palisade after a whole month of prep-work?
I was in the Northern Army once and you can never take that from me

Nue2 is right, the guy has a lot of strong guys on his side. He's often given free stuff, helped with his palisade, etc. Still, respect. He has a lot of motivation to make this.

Like Tonky said - it's all to do with luck in where you settle and who is around you, furthered by your own personality. I've been a hermit every world and it takes me a lot of time to get set up, I reach mid-game when everyone else is at end-game, lol, but it's not the time it takes but the journey itself that is important. I've also had help in different forms every world, gifts from friends, help in building at times, etc, and, in turn, I help the new people around me with building and gifts, and always respond to pm's asking for help or advice, we all do don't we?

I have two bases, my village and then a sperate claim elsewhere, the latter isn't anywhere near as developed as LordRatos, and thats since the world started!

Anyway, my point is - it doesn't matter how long it takes you or wether you have help or not, it's still all your achievement at the end of the day. Good job. :)

I have to agree with Amanda. It's really about how you see the game. If you want quick development it really only take lots of time or help. However if you want to have fun development is at your own pace. Just decide what you want from the game and stick to it. You'll get there soon enough. :)

He's bartered for all the "help" he's got, he just made the smart play and went for an idol before anything else so he could start trading.
