how?
how much am I missing if this man is able to build a village in under 3 weeks and I was just barely able to put up my palisade after a whole month of prep-work?
Nue2 is right, the guy has a lot of strong guys on his side. He's often given free stuff, helped with his palisade, etc. Still, respect. He has a lot of motivation to make this.
Like Tonky said - it's all to do with luck in where you settle and who is around you, furthered by your own personality. I've been a hermit every world and it takes me a lot of time to get set up, I reach mid-game when everyone else is at end-game, lol, but it's not the time it takes but the journey itself that is important. I've also had help in different forms every world, gifts from friends, help in building at times, etc, and, in turn, I help the new people around me with building and gifts, and always respond to pm's asking for help or advice, we all do don't we?
I have two bases, my village and then a sperate claim elsewhere, the latter isn't anywhere near as developed as LordRatos, and thats since the world started!
Anyway, my point is - it doesn't matter how long it takes you or wether you have help or not, it's still all your achievement at the end of the day. Good job.
