Yes he is, as far as I know he is also in charge of the modeling of 3D objects. He's pretty good.
I'm glad to hear that you guys do think Salem is not a bad game. I can see tons of thought put into it by Loftar and Jorb. The fact that Salem used to be "HnH v2" that tried to address all the trouble and mistakes they have made in HnH says something.
Salem nowadays have a deep and exciting end game, a safe and merry environment early on, tons of new features, balancing on the way and a hard working team of developers.
They did run into more trouble trying to fix the old ones but eventually I think they will come up with something. This game have so much potential!
Have you guy ever tried our witch system? It's fun and dynamic! And the new alloys making is fantastic!
I believe we are on the right track. It just take some more time.

Stockpiles and a new house

The domesticated animal is interesting, but it's likely still not worth the hassle of actually playing the game to experience it

These are just some of the new things. We have vicious mine monsters, scare darkness creatures already. And oh mines connect at lv 9.
The game is being expanded at godlike speed. They actually ask for our input and do what we demand. (if it's reasonable)
Starting the game is now easier than ever! You can reach decent place in days and be able to dive into most activities in a matter of hours. That's said, it is still harder at high level. It's nothing like before.
I assure you if you start playing no dev will be fooling around with you just because. They have a game to develope and a market to shake dust up.

I only played the earliest beta but I think this looks pretty nice for a game like that.
