the ultima series had more of a "top down" quasi-isometric view for a long time, i think it went to true iso in ultima 8, then they went back to the more traditional angle in uo

I googled OP's name. Turns out he's gay. I think that explains most everything.

RO is like a drug addiction you never ever get completely rid of..lol I still play it because of the I've never been in a game that has never faultered once where new content is concerned. All the additions to RO have came steadily year after year.

Here's some pics of my 8 year old character, an Alchemist named Ativas Daxx, wearing his Helm of the Sun God which took me years to get good enough to defeat the creature I got it from..lol
Here he is with his Pet (The little devil), and with his Summon (The fish looking thing). They fight with me...Alchemists and Blacksmiths are my favorite classes.

And here he is when his sumon was still a baby (That's what the fishy looked like before he leveled up and got his max level glow).

Taekwon Masters never got love from the programmers.

The thing i think is funny about this whole thread is most of these games posted look like they're for 6 yearolds.. and you say ultima online looks complete trash? You did realise that there are thousands of games released based on UO, and if it wasn't for UO there wouldn't be that many good games released today.
