The people seem to be operating on a false assumption that we *want* people to move into our grid. That's not the case. We're indifferent towards peaceful settlers, and hostile towards criminally inclined ones.

Granted hence my interation of the point being that you were offering a safe place. Which well enough should be the focus instead of your want of your own resources as any village does.
If rules were meant to be broken we would have called them ribs instead.

yes your hearthfire(for one).

silently waiting, watching(HF/Movements), listening(door clicks, game sounds). whats great is when a village puts all the HF of important people in the center, and visible.

I heard about TinselTown being slain and now it has happened to Durnion? What did we do? Innocent bystanders getting caught in an unwanted mess? A few of my slain villagers have now decided to quit over this ordeal as they spent so much time on those characters. Is there anyone willing to find out who slain my village and would like to avenge our deaths??? I would be forever grateful. As for now it looks like I'm going to have to start off alone in the wilderness narrowly escaping from boars once more...

AVENGE DURNION!!!!!! We did not deserve to die! AVENGE US!!! Kill these raiders!

My hearthfire was not an issue because it had already previously been destroyed. I was logging in inside of my house.. where i last logged out. The only possible thing could've been a door click but there's a hell of a lot of houses in Durnion so it's weird for that guy to have found me so quickly. Still seems very odd to me.

It may be possible that you were betrayed from within.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Jolatown now also destroyed, likely by the same people, 2 high level characters just jumped my friends as they came outside and looted them for keys and took me out while I was afk inside the village. I re-spawned and got one of them to kin me his name was Gomez. I'd been investigating a vandalism at a farm on the other side of the grid in which all the cupboards inside of an un-walled farm were demolished, the hearth was to the east putting it in the B1 grid while the perpetrators were north, I suspect is was the same people.

These folks have now destroyed every major community in the A1 grid. It would be a great service to the community if someone would track them down as they will certainly continue this rein of terror if not stopped (likely passing into the A2 grid considering their current pattern). Our location is marked on the web map and it should be simple to collect the numerous murder scents around our town.

Why do you people insist on opening gates.
"Since all men count themselves righteous, and since
no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."
