If your biggest impression of a game comes from it's graphics then I feel sorry for you.

The only problem is the lag, which is caused by the server it runs on...

No, lag is not the only problem. Lag is the more tolerable problem, even more so because of people like you who deny or are oblivious to the existence of the other, more frustrating problem.

Link. Framerate is lucky to be at 25 in an empty area, and that's bare minimum fluidity in a game that sports graphics from last decade. Now obviously, it's more optimized, but I can run TF2. That factioid is a thorn in my thoughts whenever I walk by a wheat field.

I like the graphics fine, but their complexity per CPU power taken is really, really high.

So how could you reduce it? I could run Crysis on very-high everything when it came out =D

I remember people* saying that no personal computer out there could run Crysis on max settings because it intentionally surpassed what was available. Aside from being some arbitrary video graphics and processing benchmark, I've never heard anyone talk about Crysis as a game, anyway, so I don't really know anything about it. Apparently the graphics are good.

Haven's graphics are kind of bare. Simply put, you don't reduce sprite graphics because there's nothing to reduce in any meaningful way. I guess a smaller window, but from what I can tell it doesn't really seem like having the wheat field off-screen helps much at all. Of course, you could have the client render things optionally and toggle them on when needed, but unless that's something I missed about Gilbertus' client, it's not available.

*People on the internet. Super reliable.

I swam a river with +5 change twice, Klaue, I am 2xcool or?

It's a decent shooter until the ailens show up. Then it starts to suck balls. You get to drive vehicles, which is always cool.

IMO it sucks balls until the aliens show up. Shooting Koreans in the face 5+ times and have them still chasing you is idiotic. Realistic war FPSes are boring anyway. The aliens are kinda cool though. Matrix ripoff, but cool anyway.
