I'm assuming that the troll appeared in a normal cave, right?

Everyone keeps telling me that they only appear in minehole in a minehole in a cave, but those screenshots were most definitely not taken mineholes (unless I'm missing something here). Though, if this is the only troll seen yet, I don't know where they've gotten this information anyway.

We're still not even certain it's a natural spawn. Jorb's spawned them before, though at that point I don't recall hearing they dropped anything. All he said was that he ought to make them able to swim. That can be taken as it's too easy to overcome a threat, or that it's too easy to overcome his fun.

I'd wait for other people to run into them before we start theorycrafting too much.

Actually if the 2% per "mined tile" would've been true, the chance of a troll spawning in 35 mined tiles would've been 51%, not 70%.

jorb: It's called creative license. You know, that thing you seem to want to apply to logic, grammar and coherence? :)

When jorb spawned trolls (or wolves or eagles) before they were neither agressive, nor could one aggro them.

Maybe the jackpot is enough to buy 22,000,001 lottery tickets?
