Lawl, I know. But he says he's much better with 3D graphics than 2D. Even though I've never said anything bad about his graphics.


then obviously it should be 3d. game should be done in the manner that is easier and better quality for developers, not based on popular opinion.

Yeah, what I'm worried about is if it's more lag to run it in 3D.

So we'll do it in 3D, it's decided.

i wouldn't think there would be any more or less lag for 2d vs 3d, except for clientside, based on graphic card capabilty, but there is usually an option for lower quality.

This depends on what the client is developed in, too. Some things just can't handle 3d very well. (Java, I'm looking at you.)

No one in their right mind would develop an entire MMO in java...
