Well, a test server that might consist of only one megagrid or gets reset every week or what have you might just work. It wouldn't need to be exclusive membership, after all. If that where the case, you could even have some cheat tools for this test server- things like decreasing LP costs ten thousand fold, or assuming 100% resurrection- so that high-level features could be tested. Also, it would probably attract the worst elements of the community; no need to macro for weeks to get the black skills, you can just play deathmatch on the test server. Not a bad idea at all. Unfortunately, the development cycle is fairly slow, and Loftar's bug fixes come so ridiculously fast, that I don't actually know what the hell we're meant to be testing.

Maybe I worded that badly.

I mean that, since we get features bit by bit, instead of all at once, we're effectively testing features and pointing out the bugs before the next feature is released, instead of in usual development cycles when a LOT of content is dropped at once.
