Yeah, my wife works for the United States Army and I live on an Army base but I'm clueless. Lets not forget that the base I live on does 75% of the combat training for deployments. My wife's boss PCS'ed to Iraq a little over a year ago to begin the draw down and he's in the Army medical services, needless to say one of the last to be drawn down. Say what you want about Obama but the Iraq draw down began less than a year after he was elected.

My father could be a car salesman but does not mean he knows the policies of the car makers and what they plan next right? Plus Obama said he will bring the American troops home within 16 months, he didn't did he? Also Obama/Pentagon want to leave a few thousand troops behind in Iraq

Plus regarding the Afghan War they are looking to pull out of the country in 2014, not only that he increased the troop numbers in Afghanistan by 30,000. Again a broken promise as Obama said it would be the first thing he would do, to bring troops home (I quote: "If we have not got our troops out by the time I am President, I promise you it will be the first thing I do). I don't call 6 more years after Obama got elected as "the first thing".
