The tray is only a soft cap, I had q46 cheese and a q63 tub, its stayed at q46 through every stage.

Yeah, this was changed and was noted in the announcements.

This is wrong. It seems more like:

qLeather = (3*qHide + qBark + qWater + qTub)/6

A wiki edit by an unregistered user put the quality formula for a Traveller's Sack as
Code: Select all
+   *Q1 = (sum(Hardened Leather q)+sum(String q))/13

I tested this and it wrong, the actual formula is :
Code: Select all
qTSack = (average(Hardened Leather q)+average(String q))/2

By the way is there an update of these items Militia sword, Bronze sword and Soldier sword?

Thanks

Yes, there was an update on all melee items and the whole formula changed and all that junk.

Thanks for the great information in this thread. I'm 99.5% sure that I've received crops greater than 5QL more than the original but maybe I was just mistaken (I record a list of my highest QL plants, it said something like Carrot QL: 42 and I harvested a QL49).

Is this (still) correct ?

I just build a Herbalist Table that, based on the ingredients, should be at 58q, But according the some Green Tea Leafs I dropped on it. It a 33q table.

Only way I could get to the active table q is with:
(( (block Q + board Q + fibre Q) /4) + Agility) /2

Sounds strange, can you double check with another table and checking quality of every item you put in?
I've tested this on over 20 tables and it's worked every time.

Make sure you're using the average of materials for 'block Q', 'board Q', and 'fibre Q'.
