As for diamond miners (and, generally speaking, all sorts of jobs made in third world countries for the benefit of first world countries), I'm not sure they're inherently dangerous (for a comparison, see the evolution of danger and work-related diseases in european mines throughout the XXth century), but I'm pretty sure there would be a case for regulation if the country could afford it, and there is certainly a need for wealth transfert from first world to these countries. But don't get me started on globalisation.
I must admit my lack of knowledge about trapeze artists, though.
(I rarely watch documentaries ; they have a very poor time-information ratio).
